Atari was born in Canada, as an only pup and without a pack. As far as she knows. She doesn't know who her father was, she only knows her mother. She doesn't entirely remember her but what she does know is her mother never liked her. Atari stayed with her mother for only 5 weeks before she got abandoned. She roamed around for 4 days, only surviving on left over deer carcass's and pockets of water. On the fourth day of roaming Atari was eating a left over Moose when a female wolf came along. Atari was terrified and tried to run away but her exhaustion dragged her down. Ready to quit Atari just laid there awaiting death but she waited and waited and waited. Nothing happened, she slowly sat up only to find the wolf in shock. Both Atari and the wolf sat there staring at each other. After a minute goes by the wolf shakes her head as if to get a thought out of her head. The wolfs ears lay back and its head lowers to Atari's level to seem less threatening, and the wolf talks to Atari for the rest of the evening. Atari learns that the wolfs name is Asami and she had pups but were killed by her pack because it wasn't any of the packs pup. Asami decided to run away and has been on her own for a 6 years. Atari was a little skeptical of the female at first but Asami's kind nature put the pups mind at ease. They both grew each others trust over time and with that Asami became sort of a mother figure to Atari and for the rest of that year Asami taught the pup everything she would need to know for the future.
