Lemongrass was born and raised in a sterile facility, being put into a clean, white room the moment she was weaned. She was deprived of all senses to induce feelings of loneliness and depression, and her only contact with the outside world was her daily injections, and the scientists carrying her from her white room to her exercise room and back. When she was a year old, she was shipped to another facility. She spent a long time, an unknown amount of time, inside a white crate rocking on the waves overseas, and then was loaded onto a truck that was cold and dark inside. She didn't know what she expected, but en route, the truck crashed into a tree and released her to the wild. She fled the moment her paws touched the grass, and continued to run until she reached the Teekon Wilds, where she found the prey was plentiful and the water clean. It wasn't until she saw other wolves that she realized what that other scent was, that scent that pulled at her and made her want to run at them, and yet made her so afraid. She spent the next year living in the shadows, eating rats and rabbits and staying out of everyone's way, but for her, the time of her isolation was drawing to an end.
