(Refer to Jim's avatar for a more accurate one)What one might call tiny to other wolves, and he is indeed often dwarfed by others who are not his own species. Jim is probably not what you'd define as male.
He just doesn't tip the scale at 70lbs, with a height of 28 inches. He's probably underweight but makes up for it with hard training so that at least what makes up his mass is actual muscle and not fat.
Jim knows that he can't usually pursue "warrior" trades, but he strives to, anyway - and what's stopping him? Considering that he's mostly muscle and very healthy, he's the one odd, small figure snapping his jaws in your face.
Red fur, rather like red soil, covers his body. His eyes are a sharp, piercing green, reminding one of a Christmas tree - except that trees don't usually snarl and make a move for your neck when angered. Think ginger when imagining his fur, and you've yourself a pretty close estimate.
But bear in mind that this fiery male hides more behind his appearance - for example, a strong bone structure and a lean frame. He is strong, quick and agile, his fierce stance enough to chase off the weak-hearted before he needs to bust out the teeth and physically attack them himself. His disadvantages in the size factor often require him to pull out the Look because while he can hold his own in a battle, anyone substantially larger than himself could probably crush Jim under a) their weight, or b)their sheer size.
Personality
Usually witty, but tends to snark. Jim is almost always on the defensive and neutral side of the world but don't let how he positions himself fool you - the male is more than willing to fight to prove his worth (but first he'll give the Look). His posture often reminds one of a rock - neutral but firm.
Jim is probably an ordinary wolf. He gets angry (but stays calm very well, and never shows his anger unless in serious situations). His wrath is like a burning maelstrom of rage - but that's only on the inside. Outwardly, it's a frigid, barely-contained fire. He can be happy - you'll be surprised at how little it takes to do that if Jim's in a good mood. He can be unpredictable - how else does one expect a tiny wolf to constantly surprise his enemies? Likewise, he can be predictable to those who know him well.
Jim has urges, needs, wants like any other wolf. Like many, he has strong familial instincts and an urge to defend his pack to the last. Still, just add an immense proportion of self-control into the mix and you have the creature full of sass.
But even then, Jim conforms to society's vision of male. He doesn't let his anger show unless needed, he doesn't let his sadness/grief appear and he won't even bring his joy to the front unless he's being up close and personal.
In short? A brick wall.
But in all seriousness, Jim is your typical man with a sprinkling of snark, wit and a heaping serving of self-control, all in one bowl.
Oh, and don't forget the occasional need to destroy those he despises.

Biography
Born Jim Cadenza, the male gave up his surname and his previous life to become a wanderer, travelling wherever and however he wanted, without things to tie him down. He still cares for his family - he just doesn't want to stay, especially when they're more than enough to care for themselves - prosper, even. A nomad until now, Jim is still making his way about the world
He left behind one brother and one sister - the brother was larger than him and the sister smaller. The middle child, Jim worked to keep his siblings safe (even though he was the smallest out of them all), choosing bonds over rank - even when his brother and sister had their pups and took over as the leaders of the pack.

Jim has a large family tree but he doesn't know half of them and frankly, he doesn't care because he's never met them. He only knows of their existence.
