Marcello was born alongside his brother, Titan, to Athena and Chehalis of Nova Peak. They were reared together under the doting tutelage of their parents, and their most trusted friends, and grew into well-rounded adults with a strong sense of duty and pride in their history. Marcello was originally trained in Guardianship, before finding his true calling in Peacekeeping shortly after his second birthday. The next year, his mother gave birth to his youngest sister, Diana, named in honor of the couple's old friend.

As the years passed, and his parents grew elderly, he rose to the task of taking on more of the day-to-day chores of leadership and was promoted to Delta in the middle of his third year. He took an old flame, Reva Ravenspine, as his mate shortly thereafter.

A brutal winter in early 2013 caused a bit of trouble for the mountain pack, including injury, a lack of game, and tensions between them and the neighboring pack led by a wolf named Regulus. In the Spring they relocated to Hurricane Ridge which was located south of Seahawk Valley and merged with Adonis Nero's pack, Rivenwash Inlet. Due to arthritis and age, Chehalis relinquished his leadership position and promoted Marcello to Beta, and Adonis to Alpha. That spring, Reva gave birth to two healthy children: Rainier and Katrina.

In 2014, Marcello and Reva split up, though they remain on good terms to this day. His instinctual need to wander began to manifest shortly after Aquilo and Katrina dispersed from the pack. Another year or so passes until the pack is stable enough for him to indulge in the urge and, with the support of co-Beta, Virgil, he takes a leave of absence to travel like his father did many years before him.
