At a Glance
At first, a rather nondescript man—tall, lanky, with a coat lighter than the typical agouti pattern with reds, browns, and greys along his neck and back. Behaviorally: self-assured, slick, sly. With a glint in his green eyes and something magnetic in his cracked-tooth smile, he looks like a man with a story to tell—though maybe not one to believe.
Profile of Cash: Details
Appearance
With a dusty pelt just like the wide plains he's spent most of his life roaming, Cash cuts a somewhat eye-catching figure, less because of his looks—as he's rather plain when it comes right down to it—but more because of the leonine type of confidence he moves with. Thin, tall, and rangy, his agouti-patterned coat is far lighter than typical, with brindled patterns of darker browns, reds, and grays along the guard hairs of his neck and back. His eyes are a sparkling chartreuse color, though other identifying features include a tattered left ear and a slightly chipped lower canine tooth. (Voice: Logan Cunningham as Rucks, speaking, singing.)
Personality
There's something odd about Cash Din. There's just something that can't really be nailed down or wrestled into words, just a kind of residual slipperiness to him, an ephemeral feeling of ambiguity. To most folks, he's nice enough. Charming, eloquent, nonchalant, all with a kind of impressive (or insufferable, depending on how you interpret it) self-assuredness that would usually not befit a wanderer. If it behooves him, he'll be the nicest fellow you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting.

The trouble is when it doesn't.

As far as he's aware, the only person who actually matters in the world is himself. If he finds it would benefit him in any way, he would lie to a stranger, trick an innocent into a perilous situation, or even resort to base violence (though he typically thinks himself a better man than doing something so crass). His inborn sense of empathy is highly reduced; he can often see the suffering of others, he just doesn't weigh them nearly as highly as his own troubles and issues. All of this made him a poor pack member, leading him to leave at a tender age and spend most of his life wandering.

All that time gives someone an idea of what lengths they'll need to go to to survive, however. All that time makes a man dangerous.
Biography
Every time you ask him, it’ll be a different story.

Here’s the truth of it, though. Cash was born into a relatively large pack located in the state park of Quartz Mountain in Oklahoma. The problem with that was, he was born to a subordinate pair who had neither gotten their union blessed by the alpha pair, nor had they gotten permission to breed. The only reason why Cash and his siblings were raised and not relegated to the harsh winter snow was because their mother just so happened to have been a daughter of the beta at the time—a former alpha who had stepped down as he had gotten on in age.

So from his very childhood, Cash’s life has been one bought on borrowed time, largely owed to the respect of another. As soon as he got old enough to start seeing the truth of this, it started to grate in the back of his mind. Even when he was young, Cash was possessed with a great deal of (largely unwarranted) pride, and he started to act out in order to prove himself to his pack. Of course, this was largely to please himself rather than actually benefit others—this showed through as many of his antics started to endanger himself and others, eventually drawing the ire of the leadership of the pack.

His relationships with his parents, siblings, and pack-mates becoming steadily more strained, it all came to a head when Cash broke into an enclosed pasture and tried to hunt a horse. It ended up with him getting kicked in the head, bruising the bone around his eye and chipping one of his teeth. He was cared for, but with rumors of him being punished thick around the pack, he decided to pre-empt them and leave on his own as soon as he was able.

And he’s been on his own ever since, working himself into situations sometimes worthy of some of the tall tales he’s likely to tell to anyone who asks. Though he thinks of himself as a strapping, heroic figure, however, he’s had to go to plenty of depths to keep himself alive all these years. Those stories, though, he keeps to himself…
Relations
In his own words, “no one worth givin’ a damn about.”
Pack History
He was a member of the Quartz Mountain pack between the dates of 05/13 to 03/14, after which he left for something he likes to call “creative differences.” Since then, he's been traveling on his own.
