Canine was born into a feral wolf pack, where words are unheard of and the language of body is fluent. Perhaps in his time with the Teekon wolves, someone will teach him, but unless that happens words are all useless. He is off to look for someone worthy of his loyalty, someone to control him.
Upon finding Cicero at the border, Damien claimed newly named Scamp Blackfeather as his own personal spy and minion. It is the Dark Master who Scamp serves and obeys, and he who has started to teach him simple commands and words.

After leaving to wander and sulk for a month, Scamp is no longer welcomed in Blackfeather Woods. His anguish triggers a brain aneurysm, and he dies painlessly in his sleep.
