Mordur was born on December 20, 2014 to Kolur Ragnþræll and Pála Vasiþræll. He had many siblings, however he didn't get a chance to get close to many of them. The þræll wolves were slaves or servants to the great viking families of Fryst Skógur. Any wolf born in Fryst Skógur but not to the great warrior bloodline, was assigned a master from the Skógur yearling's. At exactly one year old, Mordur was 1 and a half month's old at the time, Sasha Vasiliev chose him as her þræll. He took the first few letters of her last name to add to his, symbolizing that he was assigned a master.

Mordur was taught at a very young age, that the Skógur warriors were brutal, vicious leaders, and þræll were expendable. þræll we're constantly being born, so killing off and inadequate servant was common. Mordur always dislike the idea of being someone's servant, but learned when he was 6 months old that he shouldn't argue. His master's father, the alpha gave him a long scar down his left flank, saying that it was his only warning. Next time he stood up to Sasha's word, he would kill him. Mordur tried his best not to anger Sasha, out of fear of being killed. And he found it quite easy. She was very kind, different from the other vikings. They became friends, she was like a big sister to him. And this was very very forbidden.

When her father found out, the alpha tried to kill Mordur. Sasha stepped in the way. Unable to kill his own daughter, the alpha banished her, and she took Mort along with her. Feeling in her debt, he followed, along with the now irrational fear of being killed. The alpha still haunts the yearling's nightmares, and is one of the only things keeping Mordur with Sasha. He fears leaving her for freedom will somehow come back to bite him. The pair left and found Teekon Wilds, and hope to start their new life there. Mordur longs for freedom, but is too afraid to voice it.
