Unlike any of his other siblings, K'atinaq is as white as could be. It is said that he was cursed at birth by his father and is burdened with a coat that will always be spotted at night. This is the reason he is not treated as any of the other Oyowal siblings and suffers a painfully lonely life. When the group decides to travel, he is forced to roll around in dirt, mud or blood so he can hide and walks behind the group and not in the middle with his family. His eyes are like two little coal lumps - almost black in appearance, but actually are a dark grey.
