concieved during the winter snowstorm of 2017 to parents reigi and alexander apaata, born into the eponymous pack of bearclaw valley. fled in pursuit of her estranged mother at a young age; they found refuge in undersea on wheeling gull isle, which quickly proved to be a mere stepping stone on their way to a new beginning. later, reigi relocated to vargas island with her new mate, komodo, and close friends from undersea. yakone chose to stay behind in pursuit of her own history and heritage, but the grief of separation proved too much for her.
