If it were possible to merge the qualities of a wolf with the qualities of a hyena, you'd probably get something that resembles Yokai. She's absolutely not a beautiful creature; she's built like a tank and her proportions are all wrong. Her skull is broad and her jaws powerful but her body has curves rather than sharp edges, small triangular ears that look like little horns, and a heft to the flesh around her neck and shoulders which gives her a distorted silhouette. She is not fast or graceful, but bear-like and awkward as she moves. Her coat is a mixture of common slate-grays which are arrayed across her body in an agouti pattern, but rather than being counter-shaded with cream she's dark where she should be light. A filigree of gold often catches the light across her shoulders, primarily showing along her spine where the hairs are tipped with gold which bleeds in to a silver-cream pattern that rings her neck and appears to cap her face.
