Appearance
The unholy spawn of a coincidental union. Vilkav adopts the best aspects of his varying lineages:
- Tall and long-limbed like a wolf with a stout build and a barrel chest.
- Extremely muscular on account of his mastiff bloodline and vigorous training.
- Bowed legs much like an Amstaff or Pit, upright ears and long tail of a wolf.
- Shaggy, coarse coat of rich brown with black bands crossing his spine in a strange brindle coloration.
- Champagne eyes.
- Short, square jaws for a powerful bite.
- Vilkav sports a collar from his life amongst humans, several thick loops of now rusty chain interspersed with sharp barbs intended to deter attackers.

Biography
A human couple found themselves intrigued by the concept of owning one of the rare Presa Canarios and made plans to someday purchase, breed, and train the dogs with hopes of founding their own kennel.
Several years later, they acquired their first Presa - a fine female specimen they were rather proud of. The bitch was loved, yet not coddled, and trained well. Plans were made to find a stud for their dog once she came into heat but once the family moved to Colorado they were dismayed to discover that she had mated with a lone wolf hanging around their property.
The thought of aborting the pups seemed cruel and didn't quite sit right so the couple decided they would simply have to find homes for the accidental litter.
Nine weeks later, their Presa birthed a healthy litter of six wolfdog pups and the couple found themselves fascinated with the half-breeds despite the unintentional mixture of canine and lupine.
At eight weeks old, Vilkav's littermates were sent home with their new owners - the pups had been surprisingly popular despite the licenses required to own them - but the male pup was kept with his dam as the family decided they were just too fond of the mixed pups to give them all up.
Vilkav was trained with the same rigorous regimen required of his mother but he found it rewarding - as he did the care of his human masters and the joy of being part of their family.
In his second year, he would become the elder brother to his mother's first purebred pups though only his youngest sister would remain in the human's care.
Vilkav knew happiness with his strange pack but in his third year the male found himself stranded from his beloved humans after a thunderstorm and following flood caused him to becoming separated from the group while camping and lose his way.
Vilkav spent several weeks attempting to find his way back to his family but eventually was forced to face the truth of his solitude.
The wolfdog turned then to survival and spent several days stumbling through the wilderness.
He eventually came upon an unofficial group of sorts and it was here he learned the basics of being a wild animal.
Eventually, he would head out alone and stumble upon Teekon.
