Cassandra was born on the Queen Elisabeth Islands and due to the harsh environment was raised as a warrior almost immediately. If she could not get to her food in time she would starve that day as her littermates did not give their food up without a fight. The strong beat the weak and the weak would die. Thus Cassandra was only left with one other littermate, her sister.

Being born and raised in such a way left her jaded and appearing almost cold hearted. But she was not, even though she might appear like that at a first glance. Cassandra would not mind sharing her food with a starving soul, nor would she willingly kill someone just because they are an inconvenience. She did however take part in a lot of fights due to her pack warring with others as well as the other predators in this harsh land.

Due to their differences in viewpoints, as well as refusing to be needlessly cruel, she split from her birth pack and wandered around on her own. Deciding to leave her home land she made for hotter climate and ended up in the Teekon Wilds.
