A sea-wolf by nature, Mavis is smaller than average but is by no means any less compact. She has muscular hindquarters and a well defined physique, and although lacking in the height department, she makes up for it in physical strength. She is black-phase and has heterochromia; her right eye is a deep ruby red, her left a sunrise gold.

Her paws are very slightly webbed, though they play no real advantage in the water, however a more waterproof pelt than most inland wolves does help her avoid an immediate soaking.

Mavis takes little pride in her appearance and will most likely not care about scruffiness.
