<br><br>As an introverted being, Surra derives energy from the time he spends alone (or, with those he is very close to). He doesn’t mind being in a large group, per se, but it quickly drains him of energy and he will yearn to find quiet again. Being introverted does not make Surra shy, however – he is a very amiable and friendly creature, and enjoys getting to know others on a one-on-one basis. He will more often than not take on the listener role in a conversation, and does not speak unless he feels that he has something important to say. Surra is incredibly level-headed and calm, so much so that he can be mistaken for being aloof or unexcitable, when in reality much more can be going on in his mind than what he shows. It is nearly impossible to make Surra visibly upset or angry, and he is often quick to forgive.

<br><br>Surra relies on his senses rather than his intuition for nearly everything. He trusts what he can see, hear, smell, taste, and feel; and he never takes those things for granted. He lives very simply, often appearing to have things “figured out”, though he believes that he does not. Surra believes in the earth and the elements, in the give and take of nature. He is a firm believer that "everything happens for a reason".

<br><br>Though he may appear to be relatively unemotional, in reality there is a tumultuous sea of emotions and passions beneath his calm exterior. Once he latches onto an idea or a goal, he will commit to it with every fiber of his being. He is one who will never allow himself to be out-worked by any others, but will never breathe a word about his efforts. Surra is empathetic and understanding, and feels every emotion deeply and profoundly, for better or for worse.

<br><br>Surra, at heart, is a student. It may in part be due to his younger age, but he is willing and happy to grow and change and better himself, whether that is through physical, mental, social, or other pursuits. He actually does well in structured learning, and though it is a bit out of his comfort zone, can also do well creatively if given time to think. He has a respect for authority and seniority, and will only lose that respect after repeated infringements on what he believes is right or good. Surra loves discussion but loathes debate – as an open-minded individual, he expects the same of others, and will refuse to debate with someone who may be unwilling to change their mind if given sufficient evidence for the other side.
