Bitter and wary of strangers, Astral grew up with the preconceived notions that she is a monster, and surly others with notice it if she would spend enough time with them. Dodgy, but straightfoward, she would rather not get close to others for fear that they too would realize who she is. Despite all of this, there is some truth to what she believes. She is short tempered and gives in easily to the suggestion of conflict, having been taught to fight for everything from nourishment to affection. She has a strong motivation to win for everything she does fight for, and her mother's lack of empathy towards her has never stopped her from trying. Under all of that brash exterior, however, she is not incapable of kindness, and had that warmth been encouraged she may have even been fiercely compationate. Instead she grew up in a world that taught her to look out for herself first, and others when she felt like it. She is unused to the idea that others may care for her wellbeing, and thus would likely respond negatively at first to acts of compassion and altruism. She finds such acts to be foolish and juvenile, even if she may secretly crave more of it.
