a product of his upbringing. unwilling to deviate from his birth culture; a traditionalist to his core. insufferably incorrigible. arrogant and haughty. like the koi fish which is his familiar, he is exhibits strength and perseverance. speaks only 官话 mandarin; his unwillingness to even attempt to parrot common tongue can be and is encouraged to be seen as superiority rather than a lack of knowledge ( coupled as it is with the lack of desire to learn ).
