Born into Cliffraine during its height, Oceane should have lived a very fruitful life. Instead she was passed along to another mother of the season and competed for resources with her adopted siblings. Resulting in rather stunted growth and only adding to her unusual look from her coastal family.

She did her best to follow traditions and learn what she could, but she forever felt a rain cloud over her whenever she was at home. Often times slipping away to meet other creatures or passing rogues. Her head was filled with tales of a bigger world beyond her cove. One that she might fit into better.

Given the blessing of the ruler to leave long term, Oceane departed from the shallow place she'd always known. Hungry for more.
