He is inclined toward a realistic, nearly-pessimistic view of the world, but possesses an idealized vision of how things should be, often materializing in the fables he chooses to pass on and create. Following the fire that ended his parents' lives and resulted in his separation from Sarah, Cori has developed depression that strikes intermittently, as well as a growing resentment toward his responsibilities toward his family. This ultimately caused him to step down from his role as leader of his family pack and embark on a soul-searching journey of sorts. He intends to return to his family when he deems himself fully recovered.
