Biography
Dianikos was born as tribute to the Wild Gods (Olympians). She was raised to believe she was built rather than born, formed by the red sand of Corinstrathos on her home island, and blessed with life after Melidora prayed to one of the island deities for a daughter. After her “formation” she was initiated among the sisterhood of the Astarae — a group of thornbacks who filled her mind with superstition, mysticism, astrology, and a drive for personal improvement so that she would transcend to the afterlife with high honours. When the time came for her “dedication” Dianikos performed her final rites and was cast into the sea, pledging herself to the Wild Gods in the process. She resurfaces far from home — but believes she’s “passed on” to the realm of the Gods.
Relations
