Appearance
Spiky, lean, and robust, the young DeMonte will be the epitome of his lineage when he comes "of age". Or perhaps when he stops rolling around in the mud and avoiding baths—he smells pretty bad sometimes. The fur at his nape, elbows, and chin are particularly long, giving him an impish look, and his color would be creamy white if he were ever clean. Snow's eyes, like his grandfather and aunt, are a dark, shimmering mahogany. Just behind his left shoulder, he has four, fairly recent, medium-length claw marks.
Personality
Carefree, wild, and adventurous like his father, Snowl is extremely uncouth and, in his youth, without prejudices of any kind. He is easy to get along with, as chatty and inquisitive as he tends to be, and seems to "get over" things very quickly. There is a childish certainty he exudes which can come off as completely pompous and annoying, but he is not without his good charms and quirks. Intelligence doesn't seem to be his strong suit, but he has a natural social skill and a deep-rooted understanding of others that is almost frightening.
Biography
Born to the notorious womanizer Tricasse DeMonte and his last consort, Pixie Eragon, Snowl was first in procession to his littermates. Being Tricasse's first son, he was given a particular name (without Pixie's knowledge) and was christened Snow Owl after the only two females Tricasse had ever truly loved: Snowflake DeMonte and March Owl Redleaf. Reigning over an incredibly vast territory, with many disjointed "families" that he would individually visit and attend to, Tricasse left one day to see about another wife, and Snowl disobediently followed. He was attacked by a cougar, only to be rescued by his father, though the battle killed both predators involved. In a storm that came the same night, Snow Owl tried to make his way back home, but got hopelessly turned around and has been on his own since -- besides being temporarily assisted by an older wolf named Monarch.
