Raised as a part of a very nomadic pack, Simone knows little of what it is to have a home. The exact location of her birth is roughly where the pack spends its summers, North of the Teekon Wilds. She spent the majority of her first year of life travelling, learning to hunt and spar, how to identify plants and constellations, and survive without any real home turf. She learned to rely on her family, never knowing if they would be welcomed, tolerated, or chased off by packs who claimed patches of territory as they travelled.

Expectations for her were high, given the fact that she was an only child, and her older sisters had dispersed. She was seldom allowed much freedom, as her father tightened control over her. She was informed of her destiny- that a suitable partner would be chosen for her from one of the packs that tolerated their passage, that they would spend a year travelling in the pack together, and that she would bear children at the age of two.

She silently rejected this notion, but did not have the gumption to stand up to her father- not until she met Cethleann and her family.

She was cast out immediately- but found herself in better company with the Frostfurs anyway.
