Appearance
small, scrappy looking wolf that could be confused with a yearling were it not for his insistence to remind all of his age. lanky and short, with rounder head and small snout. a dusty brown coat dappled with dull ginger that lets him blend in during the warmer seasons and environments with dense greenery. all contrasted with piercingly-sharp light greenish-grey eyes. he also has a mole on his left cheek.

Personality
[ erratic ] [ deceitful ] [ humorous ] [ imaginative ]
a strange wolf. while on the surface very playful, he can snap in an instant and start a fight rather impulsively. he does not care to be polite, and can be very blunt. and yet — incredibly deceitful, though it is usually for strategy. the less one knows about him, the safer he feels. very closed off, it's rare he is honest to someone about his deeper feelings. he is cowardly, and often runs from confronting real problems and instead creates several more just to run away from those too. at the very least, the excuses and stories he makes for his actions tend to be creative, though obvious over-exaggerations of the truth. has a great appreciation for music and story telling through song, and so if he isn't yapping his mouth or picking fights he's usually howling a tune
Biography
born and raised in a secular pack called the hillkeepers, janus found himself in a strange position even from the very beginning. a pack of superstitious artisans who believed singing to the moon allowed the sun to rise in the next morn. now, he doesn't believe in such a tall-tale, but old habits die hard. but being secular meant very little life experience, so when janus suddenly found himself booted from home to make room for a new litter of cubs, though not before preparing him to marry a wolf from a different pack. she was beautiful, he was enraptured by her, but ultimately ran away the day of their wedding and joined a pack of dispersals.
that home didn't last for much longer either, and just as soon as he'd settled, he was kicked back out into the field to start anew. it has been a pattern that janus grew acquainted with, and has learned to live with. the gullible, far kinder young man has been replaced with a bitter, crude wolf.
nowadays, he wanders the plains under whatever new name he goes by. to those he trusts dearly, he will give him his real name. usually, the name he picks are short and to the point. for example, a previous name of his was "twig," something he only used because he thought it was a funny name for a wolf.

i'm generally still figuring out my writing style, so forgive any mistakes and sorry if my writing is not exactly up to par. length of posts always varies widely.
while i try to be active, i will have moments where i just cannot be as active as i can for whatever reason. i will try to mitigate this as much as possible, and will respond but you may notice that certain times i will respond quickly then others take several weeks to respond. it all depends on the level of muse i have.
my main girl is currently racharra as shes the one i have the most muse for!
