The short version:

Mohan was born into a litter of three. One of his brothers, Kapu, appeared closely in appearance to Mohan, while his sister was a lighter brown. They grew up in a small, closely-knit pack until they were weaned and able to explore the world. Their territory was mostly forest, though a few clearings provided space for running and star-gazing. Their father was the alpha male, but that gained them little status as everyone equally pulled their weight.

When Mohan was about 1-1 1/2, things took a dire turn. One night, while everyone was sleeping, the pack dens were raided. A battle party consisting of rouges attacked without mercy and many were slaughtered or seriously injuired. It was discovered that Mohan's own father was the leader of the raid, having been tricked into this rouge group for many seasons to gain trust and a following. He was about to merge the two groups, but it came too late. Mohan watched his own mother slaughtered while chaos ensued. The siblings tried to stay together but were seperated, running for their lives as they were chased and tracked for miles.

Since then, Mohan has been on his own, slowly recovering from his tramua and learning about the world. He's had some teachings from passing loners but no one that stuck around for long.
