Aleera was born in the dwindling sunlight of a day in March, the snow was still thick on the ground. Her natal pack went by the name of the Assental Pack in Churchill Manitoba, the largest pack in the area. Through her first year with the pack Aleera would come to be a strong warrior, aiding her family in any way she could. Her sister, Marenta was second in command, only taking orders from their parents; she was soon to be the next Alphess. Aleera was happy with her life, protecting and defending the pack from predators and rival wolves. Because of her loyalty Aleera was allowed to mate. But when her father the Alpha male died, Marenta decided to make her move, she challenged their mother for Alpha Female. Her mother knew it was time and stepped down giving her position freely. It was now early January, Aleera and her mate Sammus accepted Marenta as the alpha and pledge themselves to her, but Marenta couldn’t take the chance that Aleera might challenge her for control, even if such a thing would never have happened. So Marenta chased his sister out of their territory, killing her mate, and pursuing her into the freezing depths of winter. Aleera had lost the life she craved, in the land she loved; her heart had been frozen to match the surrounding she now found herself in. Aleera knew the love of a pack once, and her travels have shown her that everyone needs a place to belong, everyone needs a meaning. When she stumbled upon the pack, she did not intend to find a place where she could once again find where she belonged. She knew that her life could never be as it was with my natal pack, but she hoped given the chance to prove her loyalty, and with enough time she could be accepted once again in to a family.
