Profile of Alfhildr: Details
Appearance
Alfhildr is large, more so in height than in bulk. She has a very athletic, streamlined physique underneath her unusually heavy coat of fur. Her ears are large, almost disproportionately so. She has a very fluffy coat, with the majority of it being a tawny, light brown. Her underside, from nose to tail, lightens to a cream color; her ears are dark brown, almost black, in coloration. Her inner ears are the same cream color as the rest of her markings. Her nose and pawpads are off-black. Her eyes are a warm, inviting, chocolate brown with peppery flecks around the rims.
Personality
Alf is an amalgamation of many years spent living life, experiencing loss, traveling, and growing as a wolf; she is a woman capable of childishness belonging to the girl of years past, but also of jaded cynicism. Within every optimist is a pessimist that grows more prominent by the day, or so it seems to the she-wolf.

A creative spirit by nature, Alf is an artist, a storyteller, and is incredibly adaptive. The world around her is seen as a malleable canvas; however, other wolves are not. She is a firm believer that if there isn't a single hint of goodness in an individual, there never will be. That hasn't stopped her from holding her own and expressing sympathy for the occasional murderer, though.

Long story, truth be told.
<br>
Alf has become rather crass and sarcastic the older she's gotten. While not as inclined to curse like a sailor as many, the female does not shy away from so-called "improper language." It simply isn't worth worrying about to her, though she contains her potty mouth around children. Usually.

Despite being rather rough around the edges, Alf is a maternal, kind soul in many respects. Sweet and understanding when the situation calls for it, she's the kind of wolf who'd readily identify as a den mother. Even so, the thought of children in general tends to bring about regret and guilt in the woman. Alfhildr is unlikely to ever forgive herself for disappearing on her adopted daughter, though it's not like the female had been given a choice in the matter. Alf has spent a long time trying to accept that the accident that took her memories was in no way her fault.
<br><br>
Alf loosely believes in the Greek pantheon, but typically does not let it guide her life as much as she used to. Her first mate introduced her to the gods and goddesses, and the male had claims of interaction with the pantheon; regardless of his success communicating with the gods, Alf has only ever had one so-called "divine experience" that she considers noteworthy. So noteworthy in fact, that she feels it was the reason she recovered any of her memories at all after the accident that brought retrograde amnesia with it.

Alf considers two deities to be closely involved in her daily life; Tyche, the goddess of luck, and Morpheus, the god of dreams. Alfhildr believes that both deities came to her in a dream, and when she awoke the next morning, the she-wolf began to remember her old life.
