Where is a good location to start roleplaying for a lone wolf?

I want to start roleplaying but since my wolf, Snowpaw, is a loner she wouldn't be allowed into other's territory. I doubt she could just waltz right through territory without getting either attacked or questioned as to why she was there. Where should I start roleplaying as a lone wolf?
Also what if I have to travel through territory? Do I have to have the pack leader's permission to walk through their territory without getting in trouble? How do I cross territories correctly?

You should take a look at the game map. There are plenty of neutral territories where your character can go that are not controlled by a pack!
