It had been some time since the man with the accented tongue had come, and she'd scarcely seen him, since. She needed to check up on @Teleklos. Not that she doubted his capability to settle in, nor to take care of himself, but she wanted to make sure he felt. . .well, like he belonged. That he wasn't just some vagabond on a pit stop. He was part of their family, for however long he chose to stay.
Lily tracked his scent through the willows, losing it every once in a while before picking it up again, her dogged persistence pushing her through. He couldn't have gone too far, unless he was one of those hunters that liked to travel wide for their quarry. If that was the case, she would give it up for now--she wasn't in the mood for a long trip, just for one conversation.
On and on she went, heaving a sigh every once in a while. Going and going and going. Leadership sometimes felt like a constant kinetic endeavour.
