Chinook returned to the circle, brushing by her mother's side and slipping her head under her chin. A quiet way for the girl to check in with her parent before turning her attention to someone else within the group. 

There were many which she could learn from here and it was obvious while she was so young, she could only retain so much of it. It would be a game repetition and trial and error over many years to come.

Alaric saw the youngling looking around with bright intelligent eyes. She was curious and eager to learn and please. This was good in a pupil. She was also the daughter of Ajei and Arrluk, both of who the aging healer had a soft spot for.
