All Welcome
It was in the early evening that his large paws trailed away from the gory borders of Blackfeather, ashen tail waving behind him and tapping gently on his hind legs as he padded across the meadow. He liked this time, when the moon was becoming visible in the darkening sky, and the air was cool and sweet. Despite how much he liked the woods in which his home lay, there was an instinctive urge to wander sometimes.

The Reaper stalked through the snow that topped the grass and froze all that was unfortunate enough to fall under it. A body, he came across, at one point - the corpse of a rabbit, stiff from the cold and icy to the touch as he sniffed at it. It looked impossible to eat, and although he was tempted to try and warm the thing he decided it was most likely a fruitless idea.

So instead he continued his prowl across the land and felt a spark of amusement at the body of that rabbit - it had clearly spent too long in the open, or perhaps had been wounded and was unable to escape into the safety of its burrow. Shame, he giggled darkly inside his head. It made his thoughts drift back to the furious mother he had taken not only the tail of, but also part of the ear - now that, that was even funnier. She had attacked him in a fit of rage for she had known his pack was the one to steal her son but she had been too weak and sickened to fight him. It had been easy to take her down.

His icy gaze fell upon the sky once more as he continued to walk - the night was his favourite time, and even if the night he spoke of was not yet fully upon them, darkness was already coating the sky - after all, he had come to notice how the sky darkened quicker during the Winter.

An enriched ebony silhouette lured through the lengthy grasses. She, too, prefers the shadow flooded forests, but stepping out into more open terrain held a sense of freedom. One that was elevating and...perhaps even wholesome, though she would never put it in such a way. Her gaze gripped onto the sky, a crisp view from the meadow versus the shaded one under trees. Arguably, the strips of moonlight beaming onto the forest floor were just as charming.

Another winter to which she was alone. Lately, there hadn’t been a time she wasn’t on her lonesome. Which meant she couldn’t cause much disorder to others, a past time she’d been itching to do. Her travels in the past year were still nothing compared to the cruel amusement she gained from reeking havoc among others, especially those deemed worthy of it.

Her nose filled with the cologne of another wolf, and began to twitch. Searching for the origin of its coming, and once placing it began to coax her way to the stranger. The blanket of night allowed her to be most comfortable, only her amber gaze striking out within the shadow.

Once locating the source of scent, she stalked around the bulky male. His pelt dusky and almost hiding him as well as she. If he were distracted enough, nothing would give away her presence, for not a sound escaped from her skillful steps. For a minute, she admired the unfamiliar wolf, his build was picturesque and almost intimidating - to her that is. He held a similar energy as she, something that only enticed her even more.

Finally deciding reveal herself, Sage sleuthed directly in front of the male, her ears lifted high and stare locked on him. Silence took over for a moment, until she smirked devilishly. ”Good evening.”

The unfamiliarly cold presence of another had his ashen ears dipping forward to catch the words passed from the other's lips as they revealed themself to him. The Reaper held his solemn silence for a moment before words of his own slipped from his grey maw, a deep voice rumbling from his throat. "Evening." Her smirk had not gone unnoticed, and his tail flicked uncaringly behind him. He was not frightened of her, if that was her intent - there was indeed very little that the Svartell was afraid of, and she certainly was not one of the few on the list.

He took a moment to subtly and very quickly examine the stranger's appearance with his icy gaze. Dark, silky coat, a well built figure with bright amber eyes, a stark contrast to his own cold blue orbs. Like a shadow, was she, he mused to himself. Perhaps (he gauged from her devilish grin), she was a little like the beast himself. Curious.
