@Nigaq not sure of the outcome of your previous thread at Stone Circle, whether she stayed in EH or carried on. Regardless I think this is vague enough and a good distance from the territory as not to interfere with any timelines. let me know if that is not the case.

The snow had fallen quick and heavy during the previous day, piling higher and higher as the clouds roamed the sky and were eventually vanquished by the wind. The weather had made hunting difficult, and even the returning herds hadn't been able to completely cure the empty stomachs of the pack. Siarut doubted any would feel entirely satisfied until the snow had melted away and the smaller game rose from their frozen slumber.
This was not a knew experience for the arctic prince as his story stemmed from the bitter colds of the northern tundra. On the contrary Siarut was very much at home here in the middle of the frozen meadow surrounded by snow, head lifted toward the sky as more continued to fall. His sterling white pelt melted against the white canvas of the open field.
He had left early in the morning, nosing @Nanook before venturing from their den. He had started with a simple border patrol, before a strange scent had carried him away from the territory. Leading him here, in the middle of Weapon Meadow.

Assuming she finds out how many relatives are in Easthollow.
The decision to leave their pack behind was not one easily made. Based on Kove's word, there were several Apaatas living behind the border. She had not met the majority of them, and it did pain her to leave behind so many unknowns, but Nigaq knew that her purpose was elsewhere.
She'd set out soon after their meeting for a small hunt. Herds were few and far between, but small game seemed to be bountiful. The strong scent of hare droppings was thick on the wind, broken only by the somewhat familiar scent of another Easthollow wolf.
Nigaq looked up, tail stiff behind her. It took her a moment to spot the stranger, to whom she chuffed a greeting. She continued on her trail, wondering if he might join.

ahh so sorry for the late reply!
With a raised brow Siarut dipped his head toward the woman, greeting her chuff. Taking a few quick steps toward her, noticing the lingering scent of hare in the snow. His stomach rumbled at the prospect of a morning snack. Turning an olive eyes on the leafless bushes scatter throughout the meadow, the thick branches good cover for any small rodent.
"Those bushes might be a good place to start if you're tracking rabbits." The common tongue fell easily from his lips from his years spent south, only a tinge of his accent present at the end of his sentences.

You're all good. <3
He carried a familiar scent and accent, both earning her attention. Nigaq turned back to face the stranger with a friendly swish of her tail.
Ukalik, she said, testing how he might respond,
Let us look then. The huntress wandered confidently toward the bushes, slowing once she was too close to trot.

Tilting his head to one side, Siarut observed the woman more closely. Her features spoke of the north, yet so few traveled this far south. Deciding that his hunger outweighed his need to know, Siarut fell silent to focus on the hunt. They could talk later.
Taking his advice, she turned for the bushes, flanking around, Siarut made his own way toward the bush attempting to run any potential rabbits toward her. His size not nearly agile enough to accomplish the quick movements required to spot the rabbit and then change trajectory. He tried to catch her eye to send a signal once he was in place.

These lands were well-known by the stranger. Nigaq watched him fall into position with careful gaze and did the same, patiently awaiting his signal. The sound of chatter from within the brush only furthered her hunger, making her more eager to strike.

With each of them in position, Siarut looked up and caught the woman fiery gaze. Such a similar shade to his sisters own. Giving a firm shake of his head, Sia launched at the bushes across from Nigaq. He gave a few sharp barks, making as much noise as possible to scare out all the prey at his new hunting partner.
Despite his attempts, the rabbits spoked early. Leaping and jumping in every which direction. Hunt throughly ruined, Siarut headed back for the territory. A comfortable silence fell between the arctic wolves, and at some point Sia lost sight of her and made the remaining journey home on his own. Content to continue introductions another day.
