its ok to skip me if needed since she is useless LOL
Uriel did so as instructed and tended to the wounds by licking until Hemlocke came back, and told the other golden lion to devour the leaves. However it gained some reaction which mattered most, that she wasn't dead nor' was in a comatose state, though pained through her actions.
"It'll be alright Holly," the phoenix coo'd, "Hemlocke will take care of you." She nodded thankfully at the black one, as a thought came to be.. He said the sun hurt him, so was he in pain? He held up to block, and she felt gratitute toward the shadow.

The pain was everywhere and he shared it with Holly, a low whine seeping from his lips. He did not see Uriel's concerned expression, for his eyes tightened shut, his face burrowing into his forelimbs. He used his other senses, large devilish ears making work as they twitched, listening to the sound if the golden stranger chewing at the leaves off the branch. He knew that while the sun was out and while he had no plants in any time of storage, it wouldn't be until nightfall before he would be able to put anything on her cut - mainly just something to ward away swelling, pain and infection.
There was little, especially in his own condition, the warlock could do at the moment.

Keep your eyes closed, use your tail to shield your face. And he would do the same, curling in a ball and tossing his tail over his face, ears flattening again on his head. A headache due to an injury such a this was far different from your normal one. A concussion was far different. With both mirgraines it seemed like anything you did only subsided the pain, didnt get rid of it, until it had it's full course.
When the dizzy stops we can move to a burrow I've found to wait out the daylight.

Holly was trying to block out the sounds, everything. But a whine brought her back into reality, in a most unpleasant way. She tried to go much slower this time, but her head still shot up, only slowing down a bit. Holly winced, dizzy. Her view came into a blurry focus, eyes burning, she managed to see the shadow from earlier. This time curled into a ball, hiding his face. Squinting, the lady still couldn't place why he seemed to also be in pain. But she wouldn't let him remain that way.
Voice hoarse and quiet she spoke her mind: "Are you o-okay?" She had stumbled over the words, her mind seemed to be in a washing machine, and somebody had set it to spin. Holly had fought through the pain to this point, trying to confirm that her painful existence wasn't causing harm to anybody else. Soon though, she knew, she would have to set her head down again. The man had mentioned something about a burrow that they could go to wait out the daylight and it took Holly a second to reason that it could be the sun that was causing his discomfort.
"Let's go now." the woman responded, firm. She would not let him suffer because of her. Attempting to stand, the golden one pushed through the pain of her shoulder but couldn't manage to stand upright; she fell. Collapsed really. Pain shot through her but, as "considerate" as she was she tried again. Not even making it halfway up this time, she buried her head in her paws, disappointed that this man would have to be in pain because of her foolishness.

"I apologize Hemlocke, for you to come out during the sun," the two were her patients, as both were in a trauma of their own. Her mind slipped on what was said besides 'burrow', and focused to place her sun and moon companions to where safety could be. However the other was foolish, she thought, just like Uriel was told by others days before; Holly got up and tried to move, but fell into her pain. The lioness went beside her to support, feeling that she would need it more then the shadow at the moment, and gave an apologetic look toward him.
"Let us set you two there."

He listened to her movements, assuming she was still stifting about uncomfortably, trying to get the pain to go away. He didnt know she had opened her eyes, to lift her head and look at him with concern. When she spoke if he was okay, his eyes remained shut, his face still buried in his own furs.
I will be.It wasnt like this was the first or the last time he had suffered through the light. It was for the good of this woman, Uriel's friend and a potential member. Besides, since when did Hemlocke ever care about his own wellbeing over anothers? Never. He'd never been worthy it and if he wasnt going to suffer in hell for the rest of eternity, he was determined to prove he could be of good to this world. Self-sacrifice was definitely part of it.
'Let's go now.' His eyes opened and through the long black furs of his tail, he saw her lift up, only to collapse to the ground. By the time she made her second attempt, he was at her side. He shakes his head, but lightly, to Uriel's apology. She had nothing to be sorry for.
My suffer isnt unwarranted.Their companion needed support and so, he was here. Moving to stand at Holly's other side, he pressed close, hoping to help her stand as Uriel was on her other side. As a trio, they could move into a thicker portion of the forestry he had found settlement.
A very rocky, slow trek towards the location, Hemlocke did it with his eyes narrowed and urged Holly to do the same if not closed entirely, to trust her partners, to use her other senses... Soon they came to the hollow, still smelling faintly if coyote whom once lived here, a family likely, as it was room for enough of them but really only a pair of wolves comfortably side-by-side. Until now, Hemlocke hadn't a need for much space other then himself. He would have to think about the future for the sanctuary as a whole, now wouldn't he?
Here.He grumbled, willing Holly to move inside to which then he would follow and finally, finally out of the light of day. If he knew himself any, he would fight this mirgraine off the rest of the day well into the night. He assured himself though, it had been worth it.

Once she had collapsed not once but twice the other two were at her side to help, shame rose within her. It was her fault this man was here anyway, suffering through the light of day. And for what? A low wanderer? A lousy excuse for a wolf? But as condescending as she was towards herself she knew the two wouldn't leave her alone, which left her both grateful and burdened. Managing to stand this time, sandwiched between her companions, Holly withheld the urge to wince. If she was going to make them practically carry her, the golden one would be strong through it.
The three, probably comical looking wolves set off to a place where Hemlocke seemed fond of. Holly glanced over to see the shadow had almost closed his eyes, squinting, and while she would've done the same, it seemed like a waste of energy. Only when she felt necessary, would she open her eyes, that of which was seldom. Instead, she listened to the two's footsteps, not in sync, she could tell where they were heading. Smell didn't help much considering she was crammed in between the two and she highly doubted they would drop her.
Holly did though use her paw pads to feel the ground, trying to determine how rocky the ground was in front of her, making sure she didn't stumble over some lousy pebbles. And she wasn't going to taste ground for salt or anything so this is how she moved. Between two others, using touch and sound to maneuver her way where she needed to, and rarely slightly slumping against one of the others for support when her legs were about to give out.
The trio made it though, Holly didn't know how far it was or how long it had taken them to get there, they were there none-the-less. Hemlocke motioned her into the burrow first and as much as she hated to leave him behind, she couldn't help but agree. She would guess that he wouldn't have come this far only to go first into the cave, especially when she had needed support to get there. With her eyes still closed, Holly found her way into the dugout, the smells came to her but she didn't care what they were, she wanted sleep above all things.
Somehow she managed to only stumble a bit on the way in, not falling like it was probably assumed she would. When inside she simply laid and tried to doze off, if anybody had said anything on her way down, she hadn't heard them. And whether they liked it or not, she would sleep, whether it was a good peaceful one or a sporadic five minutes-at-a-time nap. "Thanks" was mumbled quietly into the air as a breeze came and lifted her words away.

"You should both get rest, the sun is setting." She had an assumption it was why Hemlocke was up, for his day was to begin soon. Though for the sun-dwellers, their day had ended once the night begun to rise, and the slumber would come. Though she was prone to staying up, unable to sleep, feeling restless, and wary over the ward she wishes to claim. Tiredness had not crossed her, only the mental exhaustion over what has happened but that enough could cause her to rest. The lioness was glad while the other was not in a dead state, and only could thank the skies that she had a severe injury.
Uriel watched the two crawl within the burrow but remained outside, her golden head leering within to motion she would be out, guarding. The two were more vulnerable then she would be despite a bruised side, but that would heal in a few days so she did not mind.

Maybe an ending round here?
After Holly went inside, Hemlocke too eased within the den, awkwardly trying to keep space between them as he leaned into the side of the dirt wall. It was not only for her comfort since he was a stranger whilst she rest, but for his own. He certainly was not used to sharing his den with any other savor his mother. He wasnt used to really doing anything with anyone besides his mother, really.
Turning his gaze to Uriel, his eyes felt strained and blurry.
Settle.A single word, spoken with question, that she might lay down at the mouth of the den and at least try and ease her mind. There was a good chance from this she was mentally drained if not physically too from their failed hunt.
Laying his own head down whether she listened or not, he closed his eyes and hoped for sleep. That he could sleep the pain away and wake up whole again.

Yup, this is Holly's last post unless y'all wanna try to talk to her or wake her up or something! <3
Holly could tell the den was small, so she had curled herself into the smallest ball she could manage. Determined she wouldn't make the others worry too much, she figured it would just be a headache. If she got dizzy she would simply wander off until she felt better, trying to convince them that she was fine might be difficult but she would do it. Her friends had worried enough, they had suffered because of her and this was when she was determined to end it.
As of now though, she would nap, maybe not even having to pretend when she woke. That's what Holly hoped as she settled comfortably and dozed. Any words spoken had received no reaction from the golden woman, a silent snoozer. Truth was, other than her shoulder, she didn't really believe she had much to worry about either. If Hemlocke decided something needed to be done about her shoulder, she would comply, simple as that. But the rattling of her mind, she assumed, was a torturous side effect of her stupidity. One she would overcome in due time.

final post!! love this thread
Uriel settled, but at the rim of the den, leaving herself to stay outside to watch the setting day. She kept keen silvers around the surroundments, ears perked listening to the soft noise of them slowly falling to sleep. Though she too had caught the sand man, and found the lioness's dozing off, eyes falling..
And so she fell asleep alongside them.
And so she fell asleep alongside them.
