All Welcome
for either @Skoll Almir or @Toad or both!

The only way to permeate the sanctity of Bearclaw Valley was to enter it from the meadow. He prowled along the entrance now, gazing to the outside world. It seemed wide and wild and empty; he had found purpose here, with Merrick. He had no desire to leave, and he had lost hope of seeing his old masters again.

How far had he traveled? How had he traveled so far? It was as if someone had been in control of his body, pushing, pushing him further until he was a man-child lost in the wilderness. Old enough to be a sire (if he could) but with the mind of a boy. He'd never had to grow up.

Fraser was growing up, and growing up wild.

He patrolled the entrance to the valley, watching for strangers like the young man from. . .Easthollow. He kept the name close in his mind, remembering. The enemy. That much was clear. And Merrick's enemy was his enemy, and any sight of them would be met with teeth.

Ikkalrok was only threatened by things she did not know. And this thing before her she did not know. Unstoppable as a speeding train once set into motion, the Ursus she-wolf sought to intercept the thing before her snarling loudly. She had not smelled him to know he was a welcome wolf of this community, but he was an entirely foreign entity to her. Folded ears, different furs—she did not like the look of it. She did not see him as a patrolling wolf, but rather a lurking entity at the borders skulking and hoping to get in.

She would not let him get the chance.

Far enough for Fraser to escape, but close enough to (potentially) do real damage if he did not seek to move out of her path of destruction, Ikkalrok bore her fangs and promised him only violence.

someone can tell her what's what! but, I thought this might be fun

Skoll was well aware of the strange canine that was brought into the group before - he couldn't help but watch as the thing walked passed sometimes, or even spoke with some of the other members. It was strange, and Skoll didn't like not understanding the strange. However, when the sound of growling and snarling caught his ears, Skoll moved into motion to go in between the two or push the wolf away from her path of movement.

"What do you think you're doing?

He growled back at the woman. His eyes tore to the strange canine before moving back to the woman. Skoll wasn't afriad to teach her a lesson if she so wanted, but he wasn't going to allow someone in the pack to attack another.

A rumbling snarl caught his attention (the scent of Ursus had, obviously, not) and he turned to see a large dark she-wolf headed his way. Not a friend by her attitude, and yet. . .wasn't she here? But he was here, too, invited personally by the lord of this valley. Whatever her reason for consternation, she was out of bounds.

Fraser had already begun to bristle, lips lifting to reveal still-pristine teeth, when another packmate appeared. Intervention. Relief suffused his senses as he realized the man was on his side, and made him more bold, lifting his head to stare aghast at the woman.

Aye, what are ye doing? he questioned her, bushy brows drawing together in a frown. Savage as they may be, the wolves of Ursus did not turn against each other—at least not that he had seen. What gave her the right?

Much too large to be pushed away at her rolling momentum, Ikkalrok withheld her teeth when wolf and Ursus scent intervened. While he would not bleed, if he and Fraser did not both jump out of the way she would surely knock the wind from whoever might still remain in her path and take the brunt of it. There was no room for her to listen, and whatever the recourse of her first action Ikkalrok looked, bewildered and irate, at her apparent packmate (Skoll).

He was in league with this?

Ikkalrok's stony eyes were hard upon Fraser as they shifted to him, starting from his paws and drifting upward the rangy, wiry coat he wore. They held fast to his strange ears, before her eyes turned to meet his own in evident dismissal of his worth. He might wear their scent, but she could not find it in her to trust one so different and deformed. There must be somthing wrong with him. With a rumble, Ikkalrok turned to depart from the duo; she had no interest in holding court with this strange thing and his keeper.

Ikkalrok out, unless someone wants to try and stop her! Pls forgive her rudeness, she does not like doggos

The strange canine asked the same question as Skoll, but the woman didn't answer. How problematic this was going to be if the woman didn't realize that they were apart of the same group. Even if she didn't like the strange thing, it didn't mean she had to try and eat him upon first glance. The woman did leave, eventually, not before Skoll noted to talk to Merrick about this later. Somehow Skoll appointed himself the job of keeping an eye on things - on top of the one Merrick already let him have. (really, he should get to grabbing wolves to mark the meadow soon).

Watching the dark woman leave, Skoll huffed out a low growl and rolled his heterochromatic eyes. How annoying - he would have to remember this for later. Just in case anything else happened. Skoll didn't feel like defending some strange creature, but he wasn't about to allow a fight in front of his face, either.

"I will speak to Merrick about that later." He said out loud to the strange thing.
