All Welcome

Early Morning; Sunrise
Partly cloudy
65°

Last night, Luna slept some distance away from this marsh nearby the feilds. It was not her first choice, as you might've guessed, because smelling like wet grass and soil was not her perferred choice of perfume -- but looking back at it and deciding to sleep there instead of letting curiosity draw her eastwards was probably the best decision. Because....

"Eugh..."

This place was pretty gross.

As the moon nymph treaded knee-deep in the soupy mixture of water, moss and soot -- paws squelched against the sandy bottom and her face scrunched unpleasantly as she made her way towards the patch of land not too far away from here.

The eventual surfacing was consoled with a releaved sigh that left her lungs, and the raven's body would plop (very, very dramatically) across the grass. Mosquito bites and smelling like sewage aside, the dark femora was now hungry. And with seemingly no good ground to cover and satiate her need to hunt, a a loud groan left her lips and would, yet again, plop down against the grass.

For the first time since her arrival to her father's bypass, Ciri felt strong enough to roam. She ventured quietly from the woodland where she'd made her resting place before dawn broke, and turned attention toward the wetlands beyond their Western borders.

Mahler had made her comfortable not only with potions, but with his words. Ciri was yet to cross paths with any of his wolves, with anyone who might remain from her past, so that tremor of anxiety lingered. She was not afraid, however; the swallow was grown now. Without the guidance of her family fir so long, she'd been made new.

The rising sun bathed the valley in warm shades, highlighting clouds in pastel pinks and soft oranges. She took a moment to appreciate the calmness of it, the stillness of the air around her, and as she shifted to proceed across the damp earth her yellow gaze found the sodden form of an unknown she-wolf. Ciri chuffed softly to announce her presence, and should the raveness look her way she would be greeted with a friendly beat of her dark tail.

"And then the world started to exist again,
but it existed very differently."

In the midst of everything, it was a bit difficult to pinpoint -- or notice, for that matter -- any noises or scents that might've crossed her nose nearby. Though it was the short chuffing noise that voiced suddenly that caused the moon nymph to pop her crown from between her paws.

Oh.

Oh!

The raven's celestial gaze pivoted sideways to set her sights on an approaching figure. It was a female -- a bit younger than she judging by the baby fat which gently sculpted their face -- and draped in a pelt that made her eye linger for a minute or two. 'Pretty', the raven thought -- the girl's coat was decorated with an array of browns, beiges and golds that were sweet on the eyes of any and those pair precious metal orbs that stared back complemented it all.

Her tassle waved, and Luna waved back, slowly rising from the legs that supported her lithe body to stand and face the yearling. "Why hello there gorgeous~" the femme greeted with an easy smile and a complement to match, her silky voice just barley managing to cut through the not so pleasant sound of buzzing mosquitos. A few moments to look around, and her teal gaze reached the young girl's face once more to ask: "Do you have any idea where I can find myself something to eat here?"

Cirilla's lips curved upward in a delicate smile as the dark wolfess' bright eyes looked her way, though it was promptly replaced by an expression of surprise. To hear another, a stranger, compliment her with such enthusiasm brought about a flutter of discomfort in her abdomen. Warmth spread beneath the silken fur of her cheeks and, not sure how to respond, her gaze turned downward.

The raveness pulled herself up onto slim legs and waved her tail. Ciri peeked up past her lashes again, musing the word gorgeous in the safety of her own mind for she did not feel herself worthy of such a description.

"I'm... not sure," how did one explain to another that she'd been born to these lands, yet knew so very little about them? "Do you have something particular in mind?"

"And then the world started to exist again,
but it existed very differently."
