The shrieking of the birds drew the large beast from his slumber. @Atka Tsimshian tucked close and tight against him, sleeping soundly. He slowly moved away from, untangled their limbs as gently as he could. There was a quiet watchfulness to him. As he lumbered atop the hill they now made home.
Brown paws fell into the shifting sands. While the sunrise played with his scars and red eyes. Dancing along his pelage like fairy lights. Dipping against shadows and valleys, coloring where hard muscle turned to soft fur and back again.
Strong back didn't bow to the horizon. But sharp scrape along fur and rock. Water at the borders. He scraped white claws against cracking ground, red eyes gleamed.
A soft churr of even breathing, he moved silently and sinuously through the lands. Beautiful and well built as his father and mother had made him. And he remembered the queen. Bile rising deep in his throat. He was different than the man that had come to the Teekon broken and scarred and trouble.
Now he was still dangerous all hard edges to the queen of his heart's, gentleness. But she tapered those edges and despite that he had thought his sins would taint her, it was her grace that saved him. An angel and a devil, he should be ashamed, but gods help him, he wasn't.

Dreven is a mature character. He is often filled to the brim with suggestive words, comments and the like. He also swears a lot. If you cannot hand this, or if it makes you uncomfortable, please don't hesitate to send me a pm and I will try and tone it down for our thread.
