Although his question was one borne of curiosity, not of the intent to insult, Shego felt aggravated by it.

Her patience (none) dissipated and as her sister courteously explained, she herself fell into a vehement spew of words, tapping into her fiery temper: "Do not question me!" Spittle clung to the edges of her lips, a positively rabid display having come from his unintentional provocation. An insult! Did he seek to make a mockery of her!? How could it help. Did it matter?! She had told him what he needed to know.

A cruel idea occurred to her, then, and the witch drew closer to him, sensing his unease and his discomfort like a mother would sense the wellbeing of her own child. His question would not go unchecked. A deep hatred bloomed in her heart; the impudent girl was so bothered by his question, she sought to ruin him.

He, a lesson, to the pack; their magic ran in their blood.

Atropos knew death. She predicted it.

"You will see," comes her half-snarl, "I will prove it to you."
