Phoenix Maplewood Focus on the Rabbit

It's true that he did put a lot of effort into catching a rabbit, perhaps too much compare to other wolves. At the very least he could say he can catch them. He did enjoy his victory for a moment but there was a feeling the he would have to do much more to prove his worth. He took a deep breath then exhaled. He was going to have to do much better than that. The event here did give him a bit more confidence compare to the start.

He pushed to rabbit back towards Laika. "I was just lucky, I couldn't let that rabbit get away after all the time I spent hunting it. I'd prefer that you take it, I did hurt you at the end so it's only fair if you have it." He leaned to the side to look at her tail. There wasn't any noticeable damage he could see.

"I'm Esaro." Then he chuckled. "I still can't believe I thought you were a spirit. How silly of me." At the same time he did wish he could hear spirits, mainly those of his family. He missed them a lot. What pushes him on were the hopes they had for him. It was his duty to make them proud. Right now was a happy moment. He made a new friend. He gave her a small smile and continued to insist on her taking the rabbit.
