Eventually they exchanged some form of apologies, which confirmed something weird must've gone on between them. Charon supplied the answer to Flóki's question: "Some dude called Goober. She doesn't remember where he's from. But we'll get him." Charon's face turned cold again. How easily he had killed Nishu only fueled his thirst for power and mostly, his knowledge that he could do whatever the fuck he wanted and get away with it. He was the gods' chosen. And this guy had it coming to him, anyway. No one would miss some low life like 'Goober'.
