His teeth found her ear, blood dripping as they tore in painfully. Akazia grimaced around the fur of his throat, ignoring it as she knew she had to if she hoped to win. Losing wasn't an option, if she died who would care for Jaida? The adolescent was learning but if her mother were to die then Jaida wouldn't last long without a pack. 

He twisted in her grasp, pulling himself free with a whine. Akaiza moved back, head held high over the younger male. Her stance screamed dominance and rightly so, the wound on his throat looking more gruesome than her ear felt. Akazia snarled at him again, ready to lunge once more if he hadn't already learned his lesson.

Akazia, unlike this male had proven with his attack, didn't like to kill or eat her own kind unless absolutely necessary. "Go." Akazia spat at him, leaving no room for arguments. He would leave or she would kill him.
You can break my soul, beat me, hurt me, kill me. But for the love of God, don't touch her.
