Well for one, I'm really bad at not moving. I'm not good with staying in one place, whatever that means. I like to experience new things. Technically, motherhood was new, but it was the scary kind of new; not the good kind that she felt when she discovered a new hiding place or met a new face. Motherhood meant responsibility, and she was really, really bad at that. 

But I've been here for a while, so that has to mean something. I like being around you...most of the time. It was a joke, and Khoe made sure Grayday was fully aware of that by laughing and grinning as wide as she could manage, and giving a playful tug to his ear. I've always known I would travel, but I've always known I'd be a mom, too. Just so happens I get to have both.
