Moonspear forget my place amongst the grass

When morning had come, he had been roused completely by the unfamiliarity of the place. Day and night turned the cozy forest @Hydra had escorted him to into a different venue altogether... but of course that may have had something to do with the snowfall. He had no more stepped out of the crook he had been shown before reality had set in, and in that moment where he was alone he felt anxious thoughts come to him. Memories, even. But this was not the claim of the Winterhearts, and he would not find Cross here. He wouldn't—rather hoped—find teeth scoring his hide for coming around.

When those uncomfortable and uncertain moments passed, he pulled himself together. Hydra had instructed him of what to do, where to go, and why once he had come around; that was the plan for the moment, at least after he got a drink. He set off once to find such a stream, however narrow it may have been, before having to double back to the stony wall where he had slept and unsurprisingly, left the gift of grouse behind.

With that in mouth, he recalled the first place to check: the borders. He hoped to find @Charon first, if only because he remembered him. But @Amekaze wasn't off that list either and Dirge would have admitted, he was curious about what sort of creature Hydra's mother was. Hydra had made them—and the pack—aware he was there, so it seemed a matter of time. And it was time that would ultimately tell what would come about, so he made a slow jaunt of the borders in hopes to come across the leaders in his own way.
