Everything kept escalating quickly as he took a moment to regain his breath. Nothing was waiting up for him, the buzzing was everything, he was sore, and his dad was urging him on. The second he remembered he still had legs, he was scrambling and rushing the hell out of there before it could get any messier. He gave a frantic yelp and didn't look back. This place was hot and they had to get out of here. They could always check back later, he supposed, but he was too caught up in leaving (and a healthy measure of what just happened???) to think about coming back yet.

But he knew they'd done something. He'd knocked the place around enough but did the mysterious honey still elude them? If it had, he hoped it was worth it. All he knew was that there was no going there now, not unless he wanted bees--which he was actively hauling ass to avoid right now. He'd not stop until Charon said, because that belief had done him well before...
