when the two in the back, once again, fail to engage, sascha abandons any pretense of paying them attention. alarian (as he introduces himself) claims not to be a leader, just talkative -- sascha doesn't doubt the latter but they suspect the former to still be true, whether they all realise it or not. every group requires a leader by it's nature, whether or not one is formally recognized aside.
"sort-of," sascha says noncomittally, "i've family in the area." they just haven't bothered to.. intergrate with them yet. "what about you?" they ask, casting a critical eye over alarian (and pointedly ignoring the other two). there's no smell of pack clinging to them, but perhaps they're in the process of moving or founding or some such thing that could benefit from a melonii's touch.
