"hey, newbie!" came tegan's voice from the opposite direction, floating rather ungracefully through the air, scattering some nearby long-necked birds bathing(or whatever it is birds do). it looked like this chick was patrolling, and tegan was... wait...

what was tegan doing? 

no, ugh, don't be stupid-- he wasn't trying to make friends. he didn't miss being friends with easy-- she was old news, he was so way over her. he was perfectly fine and dandy being friends with only his siblings. other wolves his own age? big ole fart noise. nope. didn't need em. he just so happened to be in the area and was in a good enough mood to be friendly. don't be jumping to conclusions over there, talkin about things you don't know about-- sheesh.

"you're uuuuhhh-- nah i don't know your name, my bad, i was gonna act like i did but i don't. my name's tegan!" he introduced less than smoothly.
