Dragoncrest Cliffs the moonchild come to harm

I miss playing with both of you, so I am planting myself in this thread because Sequoia has a tendency to wander off. And Dio should be along soon anyway. On that note, feel free to skip me as needed to move this thread along! Don't wanna hold up a joining thread. ^__^

The call of a stranger caught Sequoia's attention, and before either her mother or father could stop her, she was bolting in that direction. It wasn't too far from where they had been, and her ears splayed back behind her as she rushed toward it. She was a friendly, curious young thing, and the thought of strangers was highly tempting. Besides, Daddy would be right behind her since he was A Leader. Even if he didn't come along, some other adult would come along and sort things out.

As she drew closer, Sequoia slowed, taking shorter, more quiet steps as she hid out of sight. She could still spot them from the bushes here, but she was fairly certain that she would be out of their range of vision. It wasn't just one stranger, either. There were two of them! One of them had red blood all over its paws, and the other was putting her tongue on them. Sequoia squinted, trying to figure out if the darker one had caused the bleeding, but she wasn't sure if she could even tell that from sight alone.
