Sequoia didn't know the second language well, but it was tossed around enough that she knew this common phrase. It was an unsatisfactory one, and Sequoia huffed. There was more talk about healing, loyalty, Heda, and Drageda. More funny talk from the injured one, and no talk at all from the other one.

It didn't seem like either of them were willing to suck it up and pledge loyalty to Drageda, so Sequoia couldn't imagine a world where they would be allowed to stay here. She scrunched up her nose, wondering why they even came here unless they were going to do that. Did they think they could just be lazy freeloaders, get healed, and everything would be hunky-dory? Sequoia didn't know much about politics, but that didn't seem quite right.
