Barrow Fields love 'em and leave 'em

If there was one thing Sequoia thrived on, it was attention. It didn't matter the type of attention, which was to the stranger's advantage (although she was blissfully unaware of his intentions). The green wolf's upbeat attitude and general likeability were enticing, to say the least, and he spoke to her as if she were an adult. All of these things were in his favor, and Sequoia was immediately entranced by him. He reminded her of Buckshot in some ways, and boy did she like Buckshot.

She giggled—a bit too loud—at his questions. Real as can be! she replied, using her nose to touch him on the shoulder and prove that she was a physical being and not some apparition.
