What are, uh, what are you up to? he asked, falling in with Blixen and desperately trying to walk normally, though he still felt the need to snatch his paws up off the ground as quickly as possible. He wanted to ask how she was able to step on the ground so easily when it was so cold on their toes, but he was so loathe to admit that he was such a pansy about a little bit of cold ground that he just couldn't bring himself to.
