It kind of seemed like he was even more full of himself than she was.  That was quite a feat in itself, but it wasn't exactly something that was arguable on either side.  It wasn't worth the breath.  Treason was sure she was in the right, regardless.

There were challenges, and then there futile attempts.  A 'directional head of power,' did he even see who was really at the helm there?  Who obviously had held the power?  Didn't seem like it, didn't seem like it was even really questioned by anyone except for him.  Perhaps he was just delusional about his actual abilities.  Either way, aside from striking her as a bit of a windbag with an axe to grind, she didn't think her pack was missing much by him flouncing off in the first place.

By the time she started to respond, Treason had started to continue back towards the packlands, You're right, I don't enjoy wasting my time.  But you're free to your chosen misery.  If he like torturing himself that way -- as seemed to be obvious by his continued railing against the two sisters -- then by all means, continue it elsewhere.  The two sisters in the meantime were conscripted to aid her pack -- Treason would see how their loyalties lasted.  She didn't expect much.

She'd head home.  In a way this trip had crossed two things off her list.  She was no longer curious about Stigmata, she was giving up on Corvus.  Treason had better things to concern herself with.
