His head lifted to settle on a black and white woman. A face of purity whilst her body was shrouded in mysteries. His ear tilted before turning to face her properly.
"How would you know?"
The healing scab down his face tore at the edges, stinging dully. His voice raw like the tree bark of an ancient oak. Was she one of the ones injured here?
Did she find one who was bleeding out?
He slightly shook his head to himself and cast another gaze around. She was right, though, because he was yet to find a body. He nodded in agreement. It was a good omen for it signaled that there wasn't some crazy killer roaming 'round. Probably.
He dipped his head, thinking about what he could find out about who may be here and what they went. Would the she-wolf help?
