Lost Creek Hollow The persuaded we

Grabbed a d20, evens as it's the leg, odds was not.  Rolled a 12 :P

Her voice was also low.  Observe.  If it has an injured leg, we maybe can catch it now.  If it does not, we can study it now, gather others tonight.  They should creep along this last part, and Treason's stance definitely shifted to something a bit more stealthy, not that it was easy for her to do, given her size.  She was not particularly light-footed, but hey, Treason was fine at hunting.

She couldn't see it from where she was -- at least not clearly -- so Treason slipped towards a slight opening so she could watch, crouching down into the snow to watch.  The deer was nibbling on some evergreen foliage that had been dusted from the snowstorms, and at least from where she sat, it didn't seem too bad off.  But she was patient, and she waited and watched.  It paused its munching and reached back to scratch at its hip, then went back to the plant, shifting slightly where it stood.

Treason seemed to perk up at this, her head raising and ears tipping forward.  From where she was, she could see that the deer had a wound across its rear leg that looked like it wasn't healing right at all.  That was what had been seeping as it had crossed the territory.  She turned and looked over her shoulder for Breccan, tipping her head inquisitively.  Did he want to try?

And to save a mini post, if he nodded, she'd point with her nose for him to go farther along the treeline away from her.
